Yes, friends, the long-awaited third installment of our original ongoing series is now available in our Podcasts section as well as at the iTunes Store. If you enjoy this recording, don’t miss our upcoming show, when we’ll be finishing our first season with a bang and recording two brand new episodes of The Smoker. Firstly, we’d like to thank everyone who came out and saw our show this past weekend. We think it was our best yet and we’re really psyched so many got to see it.

Secondly, you may have noticed that the first episode of The Witching Half-Hour is available in our Podcasts section as well as in the iTunes Store. This is just the first of many goodies we’ll be posting over the next couple weeks to get you all jazzed for the Private Ear Radio Hour’s season finale! It’s on May 10th at 7:30pm at The Brooklyn Lyceum Theatre.

Do not miss this show. It’s going to be like Woodstock except instead of the free love and drugs we’re going to perform two episodes of The Smoker. Also, there will be music.

The Private Ear Radio Hour takes it to a "higher" level

This month, on the eve of the infamous holiday, we bring you two thrilling radio plays with the common theme of addiction: “Tea Time for Teenagers” from the classic radio series The Whisperer and “The Deadly Dig” from our ongoing original series The Smoker.

“Tea Time for Teenagers” follows the brilliant young attorney Philip Gault as he fights to protect the adolescents of Central City from a mobster peddling a special kind of cigarette.

“The Deadly Dig” finds Virginia Dale racing to save Big City against a shady industrialist’s plot to create a subterranean dystopia while winning the citizens’ hearts with a special gift.

Our performance will take place Sunday, April 19th at 7pm at The Brooklyn Lyceum (227 4th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215). Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or in advance at www.brooklynlyceum.com or www.privateear.org.

Upcoming Show and New Podcasts

Hey everyone, it’s been a while. But we’ve been busy!

We will soon be podcasting two radio plays from our Horror Anthology Series “The Witching Hour” as well as the long-awaited third episode of The Smoker!

Also, we have a show coming up on Sunday the 19th (one week from TODAY!) at the Brooklyn Lyceum at 7pm. We will be performing the fourth Smoker episode as well as a classic radio play from the series “The Whisperer.” The night is made better by the fact that both these plays have an addicting theme and April the 20th is hours away from the end of our performance. Coincidence…we think NOT!

Tickets are only 10 bucks and you can get them advance at the Brooklyn Lyceum’s website or at the door.

Friday the 13th and Bebop Beware

We have another show rapidly approaching. This is a special show not only because it will be performed on Friday the 13th, but because it is comprised of all original material. We will be unveiling our new horror anthology series, The Witching Hour, featuring the shows “Sabertooth” and “The Family Grave” as well as performing the third show from The Smoker, “Dead Man’s Hand.”
